Yes, where we live, everyone cuts their Yorkies down. I've even had a young lady with a Yorkie approach me, and ask, "What breed of dogs are yours? Her little doll was shaved, and cute as a button! She was surprised that their hair would grow floor length.

That is so sweet of your vet! : ) Is he an older man or younger? Just curious, as I wouldn't think a younger one would do/say something like that...and I am 39, so I am not bashing the younger ones! Just know my generation! ; )
