I would much rather get to the source of the problem and correct it rather than continually give medications that are clearly not good for them. I think your baby has either a food or grass/seed allergy. I would start with putting him on ground beef and rice for a couple weeks to see if it clears up. I wouldn't do chicken or turkey because they are a major source of the food allergy chain. If that works, then I'd just keep him on real foods. There seems to be a link between, dogs with compromised immune system's which lead to allergies, infections, flea infestation, vomiting, diarrhea and so forth from commercial dog food diets. You may want to read up on how most dog foods are made. If you find one that you think is safe, then ask the company if they give tours of the rendering plants so you can see how they are made.
