Both of mine did that for a bit. I changed their food to Royal Canine for Yorkies. They are bathed in Chrisystem Day to Day Shampoo and conditioner. Every once in a while Maggie (the oldest) will bite away at her hip area. I spray the spot with Cortaid. That does the trick. Hope this helped a bit.
