My puppy is ALWAYS biting his legs and bottom and I don't know why! I asked the vet and she said it could be allergies to give him benadryl (half of a childrens) So my husband and I tried that but it didn't help! Sometimes I think he is going to chew a hole in his bottom or a leg off! He doesn't have fleas, I've searched! And the vet said it shouldn't be his food... So I don't know what to do? He does it most after a bath... I rinse him for a good while so I know I get all the shampoo out... My husband thinks he does it because he doesn't like being clean... Any suggestions on what to do?
