If Iams is the food that your dog does best on, then that is probably what you should feed. It is not a great food nor do I support their animal cruelty problems, but your pup needs to eat something consistently without nausea.

I'm thinking you have tried many foods b/c I'm remembering a lot of posts about this, If Iams rx is really the only thing that he is going to do consistently well on, then that is what you should use.
