Patti, I am so very sorry your daughter is in such a bad way. Sending out prayers for her.
I was going to ask if she'd tried methotrexate (sp?). I was told that it was a good long term med for RA. Also have she tried Relafin? I am not sure of the spellng of this either but I know that when I took it for a flare up arthitis it was like a miracle. My problem was it upset my stomach too badly. Worth asking the doctors about. Best of luck.
