Oh, that poor baby . He has to go to the vet ASAP. A diagnosis of a skin issue is imperative...although that may not be what you were hoping to hear.

The scabs could be related to sooooooooo many things. What concerns me is that this could develop (or already is) a staph intermedius infection...and they can get very serious if left unchecked.

That said, oy, this could be allergies, secondary to a serious disease, fleas, mange/mites, yeast and on and on....

Get thee to a vet ! Please keep us posted on this little fella, skin issues are tough.
