I used to feed blue buffalo small breed before i switched to making my own raw food. My dogs really seemed to like it (and they are picky). They only thing they didn't eat was the life source bits. They would eat the rest and spit them out. If i were to stop feeding raw or had a dog that would not eat raw I would go back to it. Right before i completely switched to raw they changed their packaging and the calorie content went down a lot, from almost 500 calories a cup to 350 or something like that. But then on some bags it still said the 500 calories and on others there was a sticker over the top and it said the 350. I'm not sure what that was about. That is the only thing that makes me second guess them is why did the calorie content change so much. The high calorie/cup was on one of the reasons i liked it so much. If i could find the higher calorie food and had to stop raw i would feed it again, but i love raw and so do my dogs so i don't see it happening. Hope this helps.
