A puppy needs a certain adjustment time when moving away from its mother and siblings into a new strange house, you want to be able to give the pup your full attention. It may be very overwhelming to a new pup to meet everyone at once. Christmas is very busy for everyone...get the pup at a quite time so that it has time to adjust to you and the house.

You should never say a breeder is good or bad until you have the pup and you have had the pup checked out. What if you said here that the breeder was great...then you took your pup to the vet and found out it had a million things wrong with it? Someone may read what you wrote and decide to get the pup and find out it has issues. All I am saying is that you need to always be leary of someone trying to sell you anything. A few conversations doesn't mean someone is good/bad. I get suspicious when I see someones first post saying how great a certain breeder is and to buy from them.
