Following suit, couldn't you buy blankets @ dept stores (fleece or other cute kinds) to make dog coats and fleece sweatshirts?

I think this is a GREAT idea!!!!! WalMart also has wonderfully warm fleece blankes for $5.00 each and they bring them out for every season/holiday (they are red and green for cmas, plain and print right now). We got a solid pink one for V-Day, for example.
$5.00 for a TON of outfits from one blanket!! Works for me!!
