We no longer think she is sleeping in the Manger, since she never went to the trap, and she didn't come out while Rebecca & Christine were there until 12:30 last night. After they searched, they sat, quietly, in Rebecca's car, watching and waiting.
Her Mom, my friend Sandra, & I believe, she has found a very tiny spot, somewhere that wild animals cannot get to her, and only comes out to eat.
She's been out there a week tonight, so we believe she is terrified of people now.
The neighbors in the area have been alerted and have agreed to keep their garage doors propped open a little bit, and keep their porch lights on.
Sandra is going to go back to Michigan from Canada, and resume the search. We think now, her voice might the only one Rikki will respond to. Sandra has raised her from a newborn pup, so she may be the only one Rikki trusts now.
I'm praying she will go to Rebecca.
