Zhoie was a little right at 4 lbs at 6.5 mo. when she was done and she did fine. Absolutely insist on pre blood work.
My friends 2 little girls were both under 3 lbs and they too did fine.
I believe the risk is for each individually, can't really be compared to another, just like with humans. Good luck.
