I understand your fears. Poppy isn't as small as Abby (shes 5lbs at 7 months) and I am still on the fence about getting her spayed. I WANT to as I have no intention on breeding her but im terrified of loosing her because my BF lost his bulldog bitch while she was spayed and my friend lost her pug bitch while she was being spayed too. Its a big and very hard decision to make, and it can be scary for anyone animal or human to under go anesthetic at any time.
I think they usually pull baby teeth which havnt fallen out by themselves while a dog is being spayed (so under anesthetic) but im not sure if you need to have them put under in order to pull teeth. A more experienced member will be able to help you soon. Good luck.
