These dogs are little. When you need to trim the hair on their bottoms, just have one person hold the dog.......very firmly...and let a second person do the trimming.
Personally - I have never had a pup that was such a wiggleworm as my little Yorkie is. I am grooming him myself (just a puppycut - which is easy). And, it takes us more than one session to get this done. I have no idea how groomers work with these little characters.
One person on this forum gave me the best advise in the world. She said to put some cheese on a plate and put it in the microwave. When the cheese melts (until it is almost hard on the plate) let the dog lick on it while you trim him or do other things. Honestly, this really does keep him busy and still for quite a while. It works!!!!!
