I know they can control what parts of the profile page are private and which parts are not. I had pictures stolen from my page and that is why I choose to have friends only access to my page.
I disagree that it is poor business practices, UNLESS it is stated in the YT vendor rules that part of their business is required to be conducted on a personal profile page?
I think, (but not positive) that most vendors state their websites addys, and how to contact them. I wonder if this particular vendor says to send inquiries about their product on their page and not via pm, or website or email? Then perhaps they are in the wrong. But as a whole, I still believe it is not bad business practice to keep your page private. (because it is a PERSONAL profile, not business) JMO
