What constitutes them being a, "house pet"?

Are you saying that based on their breed they are less deserving of being an indoor, loved member of the family? Nancy, I really don't get where you are going with this...at least, I *hope* that I don't get what you are saying. They were mainly Pit Bulls, no, not Yorkies or another smaller breed that you would normally see living as an indoor pet, but how does that justify anything or mean that he should own another dog??
