Default My little one did that too

My little guy (who is now a 13 months old) used to cry and bark at the beginning too when I went to university. He grew out of it, although he still doesn't love to be left alone and looks quite unhappy when I go. It breaks my heart every time, but I love the look on his face when I get home. I think you should let your neighbors know that you have a little puppy who is still getting used to being alone and that in time, the crying will stop. The kong is great, if the dog likes it. My little one likes nylabones. Good luck, it gets easier! (Being worried about being a bad mommy, automatically makes you not a bad mommy. A bad mommy wouldn't worry about it as much)
