Congrats on the new puppy. Although we have a doggy door, I have it locked... Tallulah is so small that she could be picked up by a predatory bird, encounter a possum or the neighborhood cat that once sliced open the ear of my last dog that was 4 times it's size, wiggle through a gap in the fence, or easily be stolen. I can imagine much worse than coming home to find that my dog has been hurt or has disappeared.
Tallulah didn't cry at night the first few nights - nor did she "go" in her pen. But now she does cry occasionally and it's always because she needs to go. The only time she fusses aside from potty time is when she's left alone. She's getting a little better but we have been working out some serious separation anxiety. |
