That's the way we give Toto's too, luvdorkyyorkies, and it's easier most of the time if I do it myself rather than have help! If it's yucky medicine that Toto tries to spit out ... I close her mouth after putting some back there and gently rub her throat and it forces her to swallow it. She is so accustomed to this method it's usually really easy ... she knows it's useless to resist, because if it's something she needs she knows she's gonna get it!!
