This topic came up on The View this morning, and Joy Behar said dogs all across America were signing up for witness relocation program.
Her statment made me laugh at first then I began thinking about the dog chosen to be a part of his "rehabilitaion program". Is that fair for that poor pup? I don't think so.

He had his chance to "show people that I genuinely care, and my love and my passion for animals" and to be outstanding. Instead, he loved them all the way to the graves in his backyard.

He wants to have a dog in his life so bad, why don't he go spend some time with a few of the dogs that are still going through their own rehabilitation? Or how about the one that was ordered by the court to be too damaged to be ever be placed in a home and will spend it's life in the animal sanctuary.
