Now I've had just the opposite experience. My pups' snouts seem to appear shorter as they mature. I know they're 'really' not shorter, but they look a little snouty when they're young and then the snout fits the face better as they mature. Kind of like some pups grow into their ears, I suppose. Anyway, I attribute the appearance change in mine to the skull maturing and everything just falling into proportion better. Funny how you see just the opposite. Different lines, I guess. Mine do show their snout more when wet, and it looks a little longer then, but then you can see a dog's structure so much better when they're wet anyway.

It's probably more an 'appearance' thing than an 'actual' thing as I wouldn't think the snout would really change in length after the adult teeth are in. Could be wrong on that one, though.
