I actually was more scared about sticking my finger in her mouth because I was afraid I would do more harm then good but I couldn't let her choke without me trying to do something. So after that little scare, I did a little researc and bookmarked an article called "What to do when your Dog is Choking" as well as other medical emergency tips for pets. |
that had to have been really scary. I know Maggie has swallowed her bully and gotten it caught. She let out the loudest whimper-cry that you could imagine. Fortunately it expelled. So glad Brandi is okay.

I had something like that happen with Thor, though not as serious. He decided to jump out of my arms while I was carrying him, and at the same time, I tried to adjust his position. I dropped him headfirst onto this super-hard outdoors tile, like harder than cement. I had this split-second vision of him cracking his little back on that ground. But he actually did a full 180 degree turn in the air, nose over tail, and landed on his feet completely unharmed. It would have been amazing if I hadn't felt like vomiting. |
Whew! that was close! So glad nothing bad happened. It's just amazing how resilient these guys rae.

You and me both! This was about the most horrible thing that I could even imagine. Hopefully, he and I both learned from this and will not go thru something close to this ever again!
