Medium! You need plenty of room and the large and extra large aren't really too big, but medium suffices. but the medium is the most functional for me when I have to set it up at other people's houses and at the beach or river etc. As you can see my "Teapot" is running from one side to the other chasing his rolly ball playing contently in it. I swear by it! I love that you can attach a water bottle, so it works great for my mini schnauzie also. You have to consider weather or not you have an escape artist though I cannot use it for my Scoobers as he will lifts the floor right up and go under and out and be gone. But properly trained and used to it-especially with a little Yorkie it should be fine. That's a decent sale price for it on Amazon too. I can't say enough about this product it has lasted me, is very durable, washable, easy to transport and set up and my dogs for the most part really enjoy the features of it-double doors, we use it as a play "tunnel" a lot and the fact they can see out of it all over or we can add the shade roof to it and a floor or remove them as needed! As long as you don't have a serious "chewer" or an "escape artist" this is so much better, nicer, easier to transport, and more multifunctional than a traditional hard box kennel.
