That seems highly unlikely to me. I think the most important thing is the quality of food. Make sure the food is of high quality with natural ingredients. Foods like Go Natural or Orijen are just a couple that come to mind. They are more expensive but in the long run you aren't feeding as much. If you check on line I'm sure there is lots of information on different dog foods.

Changing your puppy's food will most likely cause stomach upset. Any changes should be done very slowly.
