This is a huge red flag every time I see it in someone's sales agreement. Liver shunt is treatable, yet genetic. So the breeder should take no responsibility for that? So is LP, that should be the new owner's responsibility too? There are many conditions that are 'treatable', yet a result of the issues being bred on to further generations. To me, this type of wording in a "guarantee" does nothing more than free the breeder of any responsibilities should those issues arise.
