If it were me I would ask the company not to stay, as I think it would be more comfertable for Mylee to be in her own home at this time.
But I understand that it is Christmas and this may not be an option for you, In your situation I would say yes to boarding her at the local vets clinic.
3 days is not a long time and she will be in the best possible place while recovering.
