Muffin had "doggie" all of her 14 years. "Doggie" was three times bigger than Muffin when I gave it to her on her first day at home. He had shrunk and was threadbare with no eyes, nose, or mouth. He had been laundered and stitched back together more times than I could ever imagine. In fact, we had to sneak him away to wash him or she would sit in the laundry and cry for him. She wagged him around everywhere she went. If she went to look out the windows from a couch, then she usually took him up with her. "Doggie" went to Rainbow Bridge with Muffin, because I didn't want her to ever be without him.
