Thanks for this info! My Yorkie has a BEAUTIFUL coat and I love it the way it is. That said, he is a blue/gold that we got from a very reputable breeder recommended by the Yorkie association in Florida, and I thought that all blue/golds would eventually turn that silver color on their backs. Four years does seem like a long time, and maybe he is a "late bloomer" but I will be happy if he stays just the same as he is.

Simon has been the most wonderful addition to our family and has a great temperament. I raised him from 3 months old and have never looked back for an instant!
