If this is something new it might be worth a trip to the vet- or at least a call- they may just let you bring a urine sample in. This way you can rule out anything medical from the beginning.

Sorry- I was posting at the same time as you!

As far as the pee sample- you can try and get her to pee on the underside of a pee pad- the plastic side, so it will pool on top and not seep in- and then you can just fold the sides and pour the urine into a container- sorry hard to explain, lol- did that make sense?
