I can't imagine why you would want to breed him once. After a male is bred, they mark all over everything everywhere they go.
I don't know who advised you on this but when I sell a male to a non breeder, I tell them what to expect if they leave their male intact.
Getthe poor guy neutered so he doesn't have to have those raging hormones.
