Thanks for understanding Elaine...they were scanned for a microchip today and it came back negative. I have not given the Chihuahua away just yet. All I said is that I have found a potential owner for her. I spoke with a vet today and his assistants and told them the story and they all agreed with me. I know I am doing the right thing by finding them a good home. I didn't want to say anything earlier but these people are my parents neighbors and when my younger brother took one of the dogs over in the previous weeks the daughter grabbed the dog called her a *bleep* and spanked her. I know what I have seen and these dogs were neglected.
