Your heart is in the right place but proper steps have to be taken before you just pick up a dog and give it away because you 'think' or have 'heard' they aren't treated well at home. If you think that's the case then you need to call the proper agency to check the home. I hope you have had them checked for a microchip...I would be furious if my dogs got out and someone assumed they needed a new home and just gave it away.
If I were in your shoes, I would get the chihuahua back and take the proper steps in finding their home...if you are concerned about their care then please call the animal agency in your area to help. |
