I agree that some steps need to be taken to see if the owner is out there worried sick. Something may have scared the dogs into running far from their home and they are out of their neighborhood. It would be sad if the owner is looking in a different area and they are never reunited. Pls take the time to put up some FOUND flyers, run an ad in the newspaper (many let you have th ead free when it is a found pet), drop off flyers at local vets & shelters & have them scanned for chips.
Nice of you to take them in and look for new homes but pls don't assume no tags means no loving owner. |
