Awww, thank you!!!! That's one good thing about being a worrier I suppose...trying to have thought of everything before it happens!
Maya really is changing! I think you're right...I think her coloring will probably be more like her daddy. I think she's just gorgeous! Look at all that hair!! She is definitely fluffier than Bella....everyone says she looks bigger even though they weigh within 1 oz of one another right now. She's still a little bit shorter height-wise than Bella (if you can imagine! lol, Bella is a shorty!!
) and has a little stockier build than Bella too, but it's her beautiful thick mane that fools the eye!
Her hair actually grows pretty slowly, so I'm thinking she may end up with a pretty silky coat! I trimmed some of her cottony puppy coat off, and it is definitely getting easier and easier to brush! I'm excited to see her at 1 year too, but I also don't want her to be all grown up yet!
She's scheduled for pre-op labs and then her spay on Jan. 4th. I finally found a vet I REALLY like (almost as much as our old vet in OK, whom I LOVED
). He's going to let me bring her home the evening of her spay instead of having to leave her overnight...I just can't bare the thought of her being in a cage all alone overnight!! (Bella came home the same day too, so I know just what to do for Maya!) OH! And her little belly button has faded so much it's super hard to find!
She is just the sweetest, cuddly baby! I love her so much! I taught her to wave the other night....it's cute to see them both waving anyway, but I'll have to take a video because she over-exaggerates it so much it's adorable!!
