I'm so sorry for your loss.
I agree with other members.. at least he died at home, in his own bed where he felt happy and loved, and it seems without any pain. That's all we can all hope for.
But I know it dosn't make the pain hurt any less.
I have a 13 year old schnauzer cross and she too has developed lumps on her body, the vet said it is just old age. Although it hurts me to even think about her leaving us, I hope she has the same peaceful and painless passing as your little one had.
