I'll leave his harness on for a few hours at a time, especially if we are running in and out of the house a lot that day. He has never seemed bothered by wearing his harness, and I do keep an ID tag on his harness. He only wears a collar if we are going out of the house for an extended period of time (his collar has another name tag and his rabies tag). |
I agree! Especially if you're training a puppy you'll want NOT to attach the leash to a collar. Puppies don't understand and might be more interested in running off and playing. That means lots of tugging and that could hurt the new puppy.
