It may be difficult for anyone to take in any dog this time of year, much less one that isn't trained. Ask the owners to call either Beagle rescue or small dog rescue that's in your area so he will have a foster home for the holidays and until a forever home is found. Good luck to you.
The thing about the owners is that they really have no heart about this dog. It's so sad. I found a rescue (Beagles and Buddies in LA?), but they won't take the time to drive him there or even bother with the paperwork. They'd rather just drop him at a pound even if it meant he'd most likely be put down. My sister and her friend are most likely going to be taking the dog for a few days until they can find a rescue or a permanent home that can take him. We're still hoping to find a family.

This isn't the first time this family has adopted a dog and then gotten rid of it. Their pictures should be in every kennel with the headline "Do NOT Give These People A Pet!!!"
