When a buyer is screening Yorkie breeders and asks the question, "What health tests have been done on BOTH parents of the litter? Hips (OFA or PennHip) eyes (CERF), thyroid, liver, etc", and the breeder responds back with "No tests have ever been done because it wasnt needed" is this right?
Is this justified that if their breeding stock has never had any health issues there is never a need to run such tests? It just seems that maybe as a precautionary that tests would be performed to make sure?
But I honestly just don't know and was hoping a breeder could help w/ this question.
