You sound like you have your hands full! I don't think I can help you with potty training on the puppy pad because mine are trained outside. I should have done both (outside and pad) due to our long hurricane seasons. (I'm just east of you.) When we adopted Tia, she came with giardia, coccidia, and ringworm. I had to keep her separated in a puppy pen (with puppy pad) so she couldn't pass things back and forth. She had accidents on her puppy pad but eventually started eating them just like your baby. I had to rush her to the doggie ER because she was choking. I even tried to fold them like you, but she kept doing it so I took them out. Both of mine did bite hard at first, but they soon learned not too. I wish I had some answers for you, but think a lot of what your baby is going thru is puppy stuff. Just trying to bump this up so someone else can help.
