I always hear that people will often have problems with dogs they get too young. My dads JRT mix was 7 weeks old when they brought her home and she's a little brat. She still snaps and bites at 4 years old and she can be a nasty dog, the other 50% of the time she's licking your face all over. I call her a bipolar dog, lol. She has had zero training though as well.

Jackson was only 9 weeks old when I got him but I've never had a biting issue with him. He went thru a chewing phase (and still will find certain things to chew) but never ever has he tried to bite, nip, or growl at me. At 6 months old, yes, she is still a baby but I wouldn't say it's normal behavior for her age.

I would try to de-sensitize her to touching. Reach your hand towards her, and the other hand is giving her a treat. Pick her up, she gets a treat. etc.
