Default Is it normal...

Lacie will be 6 months in a couple weeks. She's doing well with training in general- she's outdoor potty/poo-trained, does some tricks, and plays fetch OK for a puppy. However, she is getting a major attitude problem. If she doesn't want to do something (going back in her play area, getting her harness on/off, getting her paws dried), she snaps & bites. We can tell her "no," but she always has to open her mouth one more time before she listens. We've been working on the biting since we first got her @ 8wks old. Should this have been resolved by now?

She's also getting some supervised free time roaming the house. She's not a destructive little puppy anymore, but she of course finds plenty of things that look like great toys. If it's something she's not supposed to be playing with, and she knows we want it back, she will not trade toys. She clamps her jaw down tight and doesn't budge.

We know everything takes patience when it comes to a puppy, but we're so concerned that we're going to end up with a dog who doesn't listen and bites when she doesn't get her way. How do we know for sure we're doing this correctly? Are these things completely normal for her toddler age?
