Default Normal pH level in urinalysis

Winnie's pH level in her urinalysis was 7. The vet's assistant said there was struvite crystals in her urine and that she needed to be put on a specail prescribed diet by Hills.

I refused to buy the food until they could tell me more but the vet's assistant said it could be from a number of things. I wanted to talk to the vet but I was refused. I am going to switch vets, especially after charging me $82 and then I don't even know why she has them or not aloud to speak to the vet!

Anyways, I have changed Winnie to eating just Taste of the Wild High Prairie, soaking it in water, and also 3 treats a day instead of 10 with plenty of water to drink.

When i go to a different vet to get an update in 3 months, I hope that they crystals are gone.

In the mean time, do you know what the normal pH level should be?

THANKS!
