Bear in mind that both the yorkie and maltese have genetic problems especially in the Maltese is Liver shunt. Mixing will not give hybrid vigour if either parents are carriers and you get the hit with the combination of genes to produce a problem. Genes don't care if they come together in a purebred or a mix. |
