I went through this with Sophie. My vet wanted us to change her plastic bowls to stainless steel. Sophie was terrified of the new bowls. We just hand fed her some each meal and then set the bowl down. She would be hungry so she would lean forward and quickly grab a piece of food until she eventually realized it wan't going to hurt her. I had never had a dog afraid of it's bowl before. Usually you can put the food any where and they will eat it. Not these silly babies. |
