It has been a few since I have been around. It has been tough. Last year I moved nd the new place had no fencing of any type. Knowing how our little babies are. Every time the door opened little Trixie would dart out.
With all sorts of wild animals out I felt it was better to find her a home "in town" So with many tears I let her go to her new home. Her new family has been great keeping in touch with me every few months and It was always great to get the updates.
Well the new owners emailed me a couple days ago asking if I wanted her back. They knew that I just moved into a different home and it has a fenced yard! So I was planning on getting a new friend and although I know I could never replace trixie I would have a buddy again while I was working.
Anyway, back to the story... The owners emailed and of course I said yes! They knew that she missed the kids - evident when the trick of treeters came by. and Although she was a stay home person when she first took Trix in, she was now working full time and was never home. So Trixie was lonely. She knew I was stiill working from home and staying with the kids so she came by my craft show on Saturday morning and brought her to me!
I was able to spend all day with her and then came home with her.
The kids were sooo excited to see her again and hubby said that she will never leave again - no matter what!!
It has been over a year since she has been gone and yet it seems like just a few days ago now. She follows me around everywhere, slept with me. Woke up with me and went to my show today with me.
Everyone loves her- mostly me - and they love how sweet she is. I really missed her and I am so blessed to have the chance to have her in my life again.
A couple things, she has super bad breath so I need to work on that. Also the were giving her benadryl for her hacking and wheezing. I didnt give her any since she has been back and she did hack and wheeze a bit this afternoon but seems still good. Eating and drinking.

I just wanted to share and I will chat soon. I need to get updated on all the posts - LOL
