Oh -- I understand now! He has lost weight since this summer. My male Ben, actually gained up to 5 pounds then came back down to a 4.5 pounds where he stayed until he just got neutered at 4 yrs old. So, I don't think it is uncommon to loose a little puppy fat.
Ben probably lost his when we went off puppy food.
And yes, it would be 3.75 pounds so that is pretty close 4 pounds. A nice size for a yorkie.
