Oh my, having to wait that long for results has to be frustrating. I am so sorry to read this thread. I guess I missed when you posted last month. Sounds like your husband has been through much the same as my husband. He was a cardiac patient, even had a complete abdominal aortic aneurysm repair/graft, along with several heart attacks and a blown out right coronary artery. I really felt like once we got him through all that and a new med he was on was helping his heart numbers, that we were home free -- but he kept having so much pain. I pushed for him to get an MRI and they found he too, had lung cancer. Unfortunately his was spread to the bones by the time it was detected. I pray that your husband's is a treatable type of lung cancer that has not metastized yet. We met many people that were beating it when Roy was going through chemo and radiation treatments. They can do SO much now as long as they detect it in time. Pls don't let them delay anymore than absolutely necessary. Every day counts to get treatment started! I will keep you both in my prayers! Your strength will be needed. May God be with you both, guiding the doctors with the best treatment possible and blessing your husband with a complete healing of this horrible disease. May He wrap you both in His protection, giving you strength, comfort and peace. Amen. |
