Today we stopped by our local feed store, which carries all kinds of premium dog foods except Acana and Orijen. After reading every label with the store clerk, who I have to say was exceedingly patient, I came home with a small bag of Natural Balance small breed to try. I gave T a couple as training treats and she went nuts over them. She usually turned her nose up at dry food whenever there is wet available, but I put a few more pieces in with her dinner and she ate them before she reluctantly ate the canned.
The little dickens already knows which bag has the good stuff and she keeps running over to sit right under it and begging for more. Of course, she isn't getting any more until breakfast because I'm phasing it in slowly, but I've never seen her so excited about eating. |
