Thank you everyone for your thoughtful responses and a special thank you to Yorkieshadow. The painting got me all weepy.

Yes, my Tigger is still beautiful for an old man but he isn't doing too great. He has kidney disease and I have been giving him fluids every other day for 1 1/2 years. He also has thyroid problems and arthritus. He still eats and potties and I do what it takes to keep him comfortable. His favorite place is on his pillow on a heating pad in his garage. He likes to come in occasionally and sit in the sun on the staircase which is how I got the photo.

I haven't let them get close b/c Shelby just recently stopped barking at him when he comes in. I don't want to upset him with her antics and I don't want to risk him taking a swat at her. I keep a lot of my house gated off so they both can be safe but like I said, I took a chance and got them together for a photo.

It means a lot to me that you all understood how cherished this photo is. Thanks again.
