 house training a 1 year old
We recently got a yorkie from a friend because the people that had him didn't want him. I don't have a lot of info but they claim he would go outside and inside on pee pads. Yesterday was the first day and he peed everywhere in my house. My question is, could it just be that he's in a new place and nervous or is he not trained very well? I can't deal with many more days of peeing everywhere. I am thinking of putting him a crate and starting over if this continues. Can you start over with a 1 year old? I feel bad for the poor guy since the other family didn't want him but now I'm wondering if the reason they didn't want him was because they didn't train him properly. |
